Oak Leaf & Acorn Print
I have always loved the Oak tree and its little acorns.
Probably because my Dad built us a house in an oak tree at the bottom of the garden when I was little. It had a rope ladder which only the brave would dare climb!
Humans have had a relationship with the oak for thousand of years. Once held as sacred in ancient mythologies & used as a building material, it can also be used as an ingredient in natural remedies. It is the national tree of many countries (including England) and is said to have hidden Robin Hood from the Sheriff of Nottingham!
A symbol of longevity, strength & endurance, it is now sadly under threat of extinction in the wild. Available in 6 colours and printed on cotton pillowcases, linen cushions & linen tea towels.
